Phone cases and screen protectors: how to choose and buy
For your exact model, not a “similar” one
Cases and glass are made for a specific body. The camera, button and cut-out positions differ even by a few millimetres between neighbouring models. So write the full name, such as iPhone 15 Pro, not just “iPhone”. For Samsung, give the series and the letters, because neighbouring models and generations rarely share cases.
What to put in your request
- phone model - brand and exact name;
- what exactly - flip case, bumper, silicone, shockproof, wallet case; glass, film or camera protector;
- features - MagSafe, impact resistance, card slot, stand, full-glue glass, matte or privacy glass;
- material - silicone, leather or faux leather, TPU, polycarbonate, tempered glass;
- colour or design;
- original or compatible;
- quantity and fitting - whether you want the glass applied for you;
- delivery and budget.
Example: “I need a flip case with MagSafe and a matte screen protector for an iPhone 15 Pro, both black. The glass should be fitted. Calgary, budget up to $25.”
Glass: full glue or not
Full-glue glass sticks across the whole surface with no air gaps, so the screen responds better to touch and looks neater. Ordinary 2.5D glass is stuck only at the edges. It is cheaper but can lift. Matte glass cuts glare and fingerprints but slightly lowers sharpness. Privacy (anti-spy) glass narrows the viewing angle: handy on a crowded train, awkward when you want to show the screen to someone next to you.
If your phone has a screen protector and the case has high sides, the glass can peel at the edges. Ask whether the two work together.
Case: choose to suit your habits
- Silicone and TPU are soft, cheap and absorb shocks well, but some clear ones turn yellow over time.
- A flip case is good for cards and covers the screen, but it is thick in a pocket.
- Shockproof cases protect better but add bulk.
- MagSafe is needed for magnetic chargers and holders, and works only with compatible models.
When you compare offers, look at the full package: whether wipes and a dust-removal sticker are included for fitting, whether there is a spare glass, and whether you can return the item if the case does not fit.
How it works through BlaBlaPrice
You write your request on BlaBlaPrice once, and sellers reply in a chat with price, availability and delivery. They see where their offer stands and compete for your choice. The site shows the best offer by content first, with seller reviews next to it. Your contacts stay hidden and are opened only to the seller you choose. More on the “How it works” page.
If you also need a charger or cable, see phone accessories. To replace a broken screen, look at phone parts.
