Farm machinery parts: tractors, harvesters, implements

Get ready for the season in advance

At sowing and harvest time the machine cannot stand idle, and that is exactly when parts get dearer and vanish from warehouses. It is smarter to make a list before the season: check the clutch, hydraulics, harvester belts, knives and bearings, and order what you need well before the kharif or rabi season. If you need a part now, state the urgency in your request, for example “before harvest begins”.

How not to go wrong with the match

Tractors of the same make have different variants, and modern John Deere or Claas machines are more complex because of electronics. For an exact match you need the model with its full designation (not just the make), the year, the engine and the part number from the part. If the number has worn off, photograph the assembly and add the photo to your request.

What to put in your request

  • Which part — metering pump, clutch disc, hydraulic distributor, harvester belt, pump;
  • Machine model — for example Massey Ferguson 290, New Holland, John Deere, Claas;
  • Year of manufacture;
  • Engine — make and model;
  • Part number, if you have it;
  • Original or aftermarket;
  • Condition — new, used in working order, reconditioned;
  • Urgency;
  • Delivery city or district and budget.

Example: “Massey Ferguson 290 tractor. I need a clutch plate, original or a quality aftermarket. Needed before the sowing season. Delivery near George Town, budget up to RM 290.”

New, aftermarket or from a dismantler

For older tractors there is often a choice: the factory original, an aftermarket part, a reconditioned or a used one. Consumables (filters, belts, bearings, seals) are bought new. Expensive units, such as pumps and distributors, are sometimes better reconditioned. The main thing is that the seller names the warranty and confirms compatibility.

How to compare offers

Check that the offered parts really match in number and dimensions. Ask about the time: at the peak of the season “to order” can mean weeks. Compare the cost together with delivery and the way it is sent. For used parts, ask for photos and the state of the surfaces, splines and bearings. For harvesters and headers, find out whether the part fits your header or threshing unit, because even the same model may have different assemblies. Do not leave ordering knives, pins and belts to the last day: they get cleared out fast.

How it works on BlaBlaPrice

It is enough to write one request: sellers of parts reply in the chat with prices and times, and each sees their place among competitors and can improve their terms. Your phone number stays hidden until you choose a seller. More in “How it works”.

For smaller machines there are parts for power tillers and mini tractors, and for towed equipment, for trailers and semi-trailers.

Questions and answers

When is it best to order parts for the season?

In advance, while there is a choice and time for delivery. At the peak of the season parts get dearer and vanish quickly.

How do I find a part for an old tractor?

State the model with its full designation, the engine and the number from the old part. If there is no number, add a photo: sellers will try to match by it.

Can I take a used part?

Yes, for many units it is justified, but ask for photos and a warranty. For consumables, new ones are better.

Will all sellers see my phone number?

No, contacts are hidden. You give them only to the seller you choose.
