Gift boxes and packaging: in bulk or by the piece
Size first, then design
Packaging is chosen to fit the contents, not the other way round. Measure what must fit inside and add some room for filler or paper: usually a few millimetres on each side. The inner size of a box is given as length × width × height, and it helps to confirm this so you don't make a mistake.
Then choose the type: a box with a lid, a self-assembly box, a magnetic box, a kraft bag, a gift bag, ribbon, tissue paper or filler. For a few pieces, ready-made options are enough, while for a big run with a logo it is better to order production.
What to put in your request
- Type of packaging — a box with a lid, kraft bag, ribbon, filler;
- Sizes — for example, 30×20×10 cm or what must fit inside;
- Quantity — for example, 200 pieces: the unit price depends on the run;
- Material — thick card, kraft, paper, plastic, wood;
- Colour — for example, matte black;
- Logo — printing, foil stamping or custom design;
- Timing — by what date you need the packaging;
- Budget — for example, up to Rs 330 per piece.
Example: “I need 200 boxes with a lid, 30×20×10 cm, thick card, matte black, with a foil-stamped logo. Needed by 10 November, budget up to Rs 330 each. Delivery to Rawalpindi.”
How it works through BlaBlaPrice
You describe the task in one request, and packaging makers, print shops and stores reply in the chat: price per piece, minimum run, timing, delivery terms. You don't have to collect quotes one by one. Sellers see where they stand and compete on terms. Your phone is hidden, and the rules are on the page “How it works”.
How to compare offers
- Compare the price per piece for your own run, because a price list often shows the lowest price for the largest volume.
- Check the thickness of the card and the type of finish: matte, glossy, lamination.
- Ask whether the layout, the stamping die or the block are in the price, as they may be a separate item.
- Ask for a sample before a big batch, to check the size and colour.
Common mistakes
The most common is ordering by size “by eye” and then it doesn't fit. The second is not realising that colour on screen and in print differ, which is why a sample matters. People also forget that production with a logo takes time, so allow extra before the festive season.
