Ford parts from breakers: Focus, Fiesta, Figo, EcoSport, Transit
Ford: many models and many variants
Ford is one of the most widespread makes, so breakers have almost everything: Focus, Fiesta, Figo, EcoSport, Endeavour, Connect and Transit. The difficulty is that parts change between generations. The Focus 2 and Focus 3, pre-facelift and facelift, have different bonnets, headlights and bumpers. So “a bonnet for a Focus” is not enough.
Ford engines
Petrol Focus cars have, for example, the 1.6 Duratec and Ti-VCT, and diesels have the 1.6 TDCi. The Focus 3 also got the EcoBoost 1.0 and 1.5. The hoses, radiators and mountings depend on the engine. Give the size and fuel type, and the seller will find the right part faster.
What to put in your request
- Car model — with the generation, for example Ford Focus 3;
- Which part — for example the bonnet;
- Year — for example 2013;
- Engine — for example 1.6 petrol;
- Side — for example right;
- Colour — for example metallic blue;
- Condition of the part — no dents or cracks;
- VIN, for example WF05XXGCC5DR12345;
- Delivery city and budget.
Example: “I need a bonnet for a 2013 Ford Focus 3, metallic blue, with no dents or signs of repair. Photos from several sides and firm packing before dispatch. VIN WF05XXGCC5DR12345. Courier delivery to Brisbane, budget up to $170.”
Colour and paint
The Ford colour code is usually on the plate by the door. If you give it, the seller can find a part in the same shade, which saves on painting. Metallic paint fades over the years, so a photo in daylight is better than a description.
Compare the offers
Many breakers have the same parts, and prices can differ a lot. Look at completeness, whether there is a warranty for testing, and the delivery time. Large parts (bonnet, doors, bumper) need solid packing, so ask how the seller ships. For mechanical parts, ask about the donor's mileage and the chance to test.
For the Transit and Connect, the wheelbase length, roof height and number of sliding doors matter: the side panels and doors depend on them. For the Endeavour and EcoSport, state the trim package, for example with front parking sensors, because the bumper then has extra holes.
How BlaBlaPrice helps
One request on BlaBlaPrice is enough for Ford breakers to write to you with a price, the condition and terms. The platform shows the best-value offer first, with reviews next to it. Sellers can see their position among the others, so they compete, and the price often comes out better. Your number stays hidden until you choose a seller. Details are on the How it works page.
For vans look at Fiat, and for all makes go to Car breakers (used parts).
