When it is better to hire kids' things

At the same time, this category has requirements you should not ignore: safety and hygiene. A car seat must suit the child's weight and age, and the items must be clean and checked.
What to put in your request

What to check in the offers
For a car seat, ask about certification, the age of the product and whether it has ever been in an accident. This matters: after a crash a car seat is considered unsafe. For a stroller and a cot, check that the set is complete, for example the rain cover, mosquito net and mattress.
Find out how items are cleaned between hires and whether it is included in the price. For costumes and clothes, ask for photos and whether you can swap the size if it does not fit. For a stroller, ask about the weight and how it folds, and whether it suits your child's age.

- Not checking that it can be fitted in your car, including ISOFIX if you need it.
- Not inspecting the items at hand-over and not noting their condition.
- Forgetting that the folded stroller has to fit in the boot.
