Business & services: say what exactly you’re looking for

Choose a subcategory in “Business & services” — so the request goes to the sellers who actually sell this.

Order a service: professionals and companies offer their price

How to find the service you need in this section

The “Business & services” section brings together almost everything you can order from people and companies: from repairs and cleaning to advertising and lawyers. To find your way quickly, think about which group your task belongs to.

For the home: construction and renovation, cleaning, household services, appliance and electronics repair. For the car: car and motorcycle servicing and car sourcing, registration and insurance. For moving and cargo, see transport and delivery.

Services for business and documents

Entrepreneurs will need business services (for example accounting or translation), advertising and marketing, graphic and web design. There is also legal help, real-estate services and businesses for sale.

For celebrations and family: event planning, photo and video shooting, care for children and the elderly.

What to put in a service request

Whatever the topic, the provider needs the same basics. Without them they will quote a “from” price and start asking questions:

  • what exactly to do: the result, not just the name of the service;
  • scope: area, quantity, hours, kilometres;
  • place: city, area, whether they come to you or work remotely;
  • deadlines: when to start and by what date to finish;
  • materials and tools: whose;
  • requirements for the provider: experience, documents, qualifications;
  • budget, if you want to name it.

How to compare offers for services

Don't look only at the total. Compare offers for the same scope of work and check what is in the price, the timing, whether the work is guaranteed, who is responsible for materials, and what happens with rework. A suspiciously low price often means part of the work has been moved to “extras”. Ask whether the provider can show examples of similar work.

Before you start, agree in writing on the scope, stages, cost and payment terms. For big jobs don't pay the whole amount in advance, but in stages.

Every group of services has its own pitfalls. In repairs and construction they are hidden work and materials, in moving it is loading and carrying up floors, in digital services it is the number of revisions and the rights to the result. Once you choose the right group, read its page: it has advice on that exact kind of work.

If the task has several stages, such as renovating a flat with electrics and tiling, split it into parts or write straight out that you need it “turnkey”. That way providers won't mix up the scope, and you will see what you are paying for.

Check the provider's reviews, portfolio and documents. For household and repair services, agree on a completion report, and for digital ones, on delivery stages and revisions.

How BlaBlaPrice helps here

You don't have to look for providers in listings yourself. You write one request, and professionals and companies reply in the chat: the price or what it depends on, timing, terms. The platform shows the one that is best on substance first, and reviews of the provider are visible next to each offer. Providers see where they rank among the others, so they compete for your request. Contacts stay hidden until you choose. More on the page “How it works”.

Questions and answers

How do I write a request if I don't know the exact name of the service?

Describe the result in your own words: what happened or what you want to get. The site will work out the category itself, and providers will ask for details.

Can I order several services in one request?

It's better to write a separate request for each task, so the offers are more accurate. For a big project, describe each stage separately.

How do I choose between a cheaper and a more expensive offer?

Compare the scope, timing, warranty and reviews of the provider. The cheaper offer is a good deal only if it includes the same things.

Will all providers see my contacts?

No, your phone and messengers are hidden. You share them only with the provider you choose.
