Used Land Rover and Range Rover parts: air suspension and more
Air suspension: what exactly you need
The Range Rover Sport L320, Discovery 3 and 4 and the Range Rover Vogue have air suspension, and “an air spring” in a request can mean several things. It may be just the rubber bag, a shock absorber complete with the bag, a compressor, a valve block or the ride-height sensors. The price and compatibility are different in each case.
So diagnose first: whether the car sags on one side, whether the compressor runs without stopping, whether it shows a suspension error. Then your request will be precise, and the seller will not offer extras.
What to put in your request
- Model and generation — for example, Range Rover Sport L320;
- Part — bag, complete strut, compressor, not just “suspension”;
- Year and body code;
- Engine — for example, 2.7 TDV6;
- Side and axle — front or rear, left or right;
- Colour — for body parts;
- Condition — working, tested for leaks;
- VIN — for an exact match;
- Delivery city and budget.
Example: “Range Rover Sport L320, 2008, 2.7 TDV6. I need a rear left air spring complete, tested for leaks, with a warranty for testing. I will give the VIN. Courier delivery to Rawalpindi. Budget up to Rs 80,000.”
How to compare offers
A bag from a breaker may have ageing rubber, so ask about the donor's mileage and the age of the part. The seller can test how the bag holds pressure and say so honestly. Compare only like with like: a bag alone, a complete strut or one with electronics already. The price difference is often explained by exactly this set.
For Land Rover a lot depends on the year. Models from before and after a facelift have different control units and sensors, so an offer of “it will fit from a Discovery” without a VIN check is not worth trusting.
Air springs age: the rubber cracks with the years, not only with mileage. So two parts with the same mileage can last differently. Ask about the age of the part, not just the donor's kilometres.
How BlaBlaPrice helps
There are not so many Land Rover breakers, and not every one has the unit you need. You do not write to them one by one but leave a single request on BlaBlaPrice: only those who really have the part answer. Sellers can see where their offer stands and may lower the price or add delivery. Only the seller you choose sees your contacts. More on the How it works page.
Did not find your make? The list is in the section of car breakers. For German SUVs you can also look at Audi or BMW.
