Phone parts: screens, batteries, cameras

The exact model and code are the basis of your request

The most common mistake with phone parts is buying a part “from a similar” model. The Samsung A52 and A52s look almost the same, but their display modules and boards are different. So write the full name and the model code, which is usually on the sticker under the cover or in the settings, for example SM-A525F.

What to put in your request

  • phone model - name and code;
  • which part - display module, glass, battery, back cover, charging port, camera, speaker;
  • quality of the part - original, service pack or copy (OLED, Incell, TFT);
  • colour, if it matters (frame, cover);
  • new or used - parts taken from donor phones can be in good condition;
  • replacement - whether you need a technician to fit the part;
  • quantity - if you are buying for a repair shop;
  • warranty, delivery with your city and budget.

Example: “I need a display module for a Samsung A52 (SM-A525F), original service pack, black, with frame. Preferably fitted at a service centre. Warranty, courier delivery to Makati, budget up to ₱2,200.”

Original, service pack or copy

The difference in display quality is visible at once. Original and service-pack parts usually keep their brightness, colours and touch accuracy. Copies, OLED and especially Incell and TFT, can be dimmer, drain the battery faster and respond worse to touch. A cheap copy can make sense for an old phone, but for a flagship it is better to take a good-quality part.

Batteries have their own point: the capacity should match what is stated, and the protection controller should be genuine. Ask about capacity and warranty. A very low price for an “original” battery is a reason to be careful.

Part only or with fitting

If you have never replaced a module yourself, think about having it done at a service centre. Some phones have glued bodies and delicate ribbon cables, so an inexperienced replacement risks damaging the board. You can ask for offers that include the work. Ask whether the replacement itself carries a warranty, and what happens if the part turns out faulty. On a water-resistant phone, protection against water usually gets weaker after a screen replacement, so it is better to know that in advance.

How it works through BlaBlaPrice

You write your request on BlaBlaPrice once. Sellers reply in a chat: quality of the part, price, availability, timing. They see where their offer stands and compete for your request, so the price often improves. The best offer by content is shown first, with reviews next to it. Contacts are hidden and opened only to the seller you choose. More in “How it works”.

If the repair is not worth it, look at mobile phones. You will find protection for the new screen in cases and screen protectors.

Questions and answers

Where do I find my phone's model code?

Usually in the settings under “About phone”, on the sticker under the cover or on the SIM tray. It helps to match the part exactly.

Which is better: an original display or a copy?

Original and service-pack parts keep picture and touch quality. Copies are cheaper but worse. For a recent phone it is usually worth taking the better one.

Can I order a part with fitting?

Yes, write in your request that you need a replacement and give your city. Sellers will say whether the work is included in the price.

Does the buyer pay for BlaBlaPrice?

No, it is free for buyers. A seller pays a small fee only when you choose them.
