How to find tickets for a concert, match or journey and avoid scams

First check whether tickets are still on the official site

The most reliable option is the primary sale on the organiser's or operator's own website. If it is sold out or the seats do not suit you, the rest is resale and tickets from people who cannot go. The price here can be lower or higher than face value, so check exactly what is being sold and do not rush to pay a stranger in advance.

How a request works in BlaBlaPrice

You write one request: the event or route, date, how many tickets, which seats. It is checked and you are told what to add. Sellers answer in the chat: block and row, price, ticket format, how the handover works. Reviews of the seller are shown next to the offers, and the best match is shown first. Your phone number is not shown, and only the seller you choose gets your contacts. The general rules are on How it works.

What to put in your request

  • Event — a concert, match, play, or a train or bus route;
  • Date and time;
  • City and venue;
  • Number of tickets;
  • Seat category — front stand, stalls, VIP, balcony; for a train, the class of travel;
  • Seats together, if you are going as a group;
  • Format — e-ticket or paper, and whether the name has to be changed;
  • Budget per ticket.

Example: “I need 2 tickets for the concert on 14 February in Davao City, stalls or front stand, seats together, e-tickets. Budget up to ₱3,000 per ticket.”

How to avoid mistakes with an offer

Before you pay, find out whether the ticket is in a name and whether it can be transferred, because train tickets and some events are tied to the passenger's name. Ask for proof that the ticket is genuine: the same QR code can be sold to several people, and only the first one will work. Ask how the handover happens: a transfer in the app, a PDF by email, or meeting in person. Do not agree to pay only by a transfer to a personal account without explanation when the price is suspiciously low.

When comparing, look beyond the amount: the block, the view of the stage or field, the handover time and the reviews.

Common mistakes

Buying “an hour before the start” without checking, not saying you need seats together, and not checking whether the event was cancelled or the date changed. For venues and journeys, write a short note with all the details. Before buying, check the organiser's site for a changed date, a postponement, or entry restrictions. For long-distance journeys, match the name on the ticket to your ID, because the operator may refuse to let you board with someone else's. For music at home, see records and discs.

Questions and answers

Is it safe to buy tickets from private sellers?

There is some risk, so check reviews, the ticket format and whether the name can be changed. Do not pay in a hurry if you are pressured or the price is suspiciously low.

What is the difference between a front stand and stalls?

The front stand is usually standing room near the stage, while stalls normally have seats. It depends on the venue, so ask for the seating plan.

Can I change the name on a ticket?

It depends on the rules of the organiser or operator. Ask the seller before you pay.

Does the buyer pay BlaBlaPrice anything?

No, it is free for buyers. A seller pays a small fee only if you choose that seller.
