Order videography and editing: offers from videographers
Shooting, editing or both
The first question in a video project is whether you need filming, or only editing of ready material. In the first case you pay for travel, equipment and the operator’s work. In the second, for the editor’s time. The budget often has both parts, and they may be done by different people, so separate them clearly in your request.
Decide the result in advance too: a full-length film of an event, a music video, a few short Reels for social media or an ad clip are very different amounts of work.
How to get offers through BlaBlaPrice
You write a request in your own words. You can add one photo, for example a reference. The request is checked, and you are told what the providers still need. Then videographers and studios reply in the chat: what they will film, how long the shoot will take, the price or what it depends on, timing and samples of work.
Each one sees where their offer ranks and can improve their terms. The offer with the best overall terms is shown first, with reviews next to each. Contacts are opened only to the chosen provider. More on the “How it works” page.
What to put in your request
- What to film — a wedding, an event, an ad, a music video, Reels, drone footage.
- Date and length of the shoot — for example, 8 hours.
- Location — city and venues.
- Result — length of the film, a clip, the number of Reels, format.
- Editing — only editing your material, colour correction, subtitles, effects.
- Equipment — drone, several cameras, 4K, gimbal, lighting.
- Delivery date and budget.
Example: “Wedding on 6 December in Manila, with the ceremony at a venue outside the city. 8 hours of filming, two cameras and a drone. I need a 20-minute film and a 3-minute highlight clip with colour correction. Ready a week after the wedding. Budget up to ₱27,000.”
How to compare offers
Ask what exactly is in the price: time on the shoot, the number of operators, post-production, music, the number of revisions. One offer may include editing, another only filming. Look at the delivery time, and not only the final date: is there an interim version to review?
Look at the portfolio that matches your task: if you need an ad clip, wedding videos say little. Ask whether the sound of speeches and vows is recorded with a separate microphone and in what quality the files will be delivered.
Agreements that save you from disputes
How many rounds of revisions are included in the price. Who owns the footage and whether it can be published. Whether the provider hands over the raw files. What the advance is and when the balance is due. Whether there will be a replacement if the operator cannot come. Put this down at least in the chat or in a contract.
If you need only editing, look at the separate category video editing. For photos there is photography and photo retouching and drone aerial photography. Everything together is in the “Photo and video” section.
