Lincoln parts: how to find a part for an MKZ, Navigator and others
Lincoln is a rarity, so ask about availability and lead times
There are few Lincolns on the road in Singapore, so parts for them rarely sit in a warehouse. Some breakers have a part in stock, and some bring it in to order from the USA. So two questions matter in a seller's reply: is the part available now or do you have to wait, and how many days will delivery take.
Compare offers on both. A cheaper part “to order in 3 weeks” sometimes loses to a pricier one that is in stock.
If the part is not available in Singapore, the seller may order it from an auction breaker in the USA. Then agree on prepayment, a refund if the part does not fit, and exact lead times.
What to put in your request
- Model — for example, Lincoln MKZ or Navigator;
- Part — front headlight, bumper, door, with details;
- Year — the model changed a lot between generations;
- Engine — for example, 2.0 hybrid;
- Side;
- Colour — for body parts;
- Condition — intact, no cracks;
- VIN — for an exact match;
- Delivery city and budget.
Example: “Lincoln MKZ 2015, 2.0 hybrid. I need the left front headlight, intact, with no cracks or moisture inside. I want to know whether it is in Singapore or has to be waited for. I will give the VIN. Courier delivery to Singapore. Budget up to $460.”
Hybrids and American details
Many MKZs are hybrids, so special rules apply to some units. High-voltage system parts should be taken only from trusted sellers and fitted at a workshop that knows how to work with hybrids. For headlights and lamps, ask whether they are from the American market and whether their mountings and connectors match your headlight. The part number from the unit or the VIN will help avoid a mistake.
Look at the year and trim too: a headlight can be xenon or LED, with dynamic turning or without. Ask the seller to write exactly what they are offering, and compare it with what is fitted on your car.
How it works on BlaBlaPrice
You leave a request on BlaBlaPrice once, without writing to ten groups and chats. Sellers who have the part, or can bring it in, answer, and each gives a price, lead time and terms. The platform puts the best-value offer first, and sellers can see their position among the others, so they often improve their terms. Contacts stay hidden until you choose a seller. More on the How it works page.
For other American makes open Dodge or Ford (Lincoln shares roots with Ford), and for the full list go to the page of car breakers.
