First: what you hunt and where
Gear for duck hunting in a marsh is different from what you take for boar or deer. For waterfowl you need reed camouflage, decoys, calls and waterproof clothing. For forest hunting, quiet fabric and camouflage in a leaf or snow pattern matter. In your request name the kind of hunting and the season, otherwise sellers will offer general items.

Camouflage, fabric, size
The pattern is chosen for the terrain: Realtree and Mossy Oak for forest, reed for marshland, white for snow. For clothing give your height and size, and the season: summer, winter, waterproof. The fabric must not rustle, because in the silence of a hunt it gives you away. A gun cover is chosen by length (for example, 125 cm) and the thickness of the padding.
Calls, decoys, trail cameras
Duck decoys are best taken as a set of one type, with anchors or cords for placing them. Calls are made for different birds, so write what you hunt. A trail camera is chosen for night image quality, trigger time and power. Ask about the memory card, moisture protection and mounting.
What to put in your request

- kind of hunting — duck, goose, boar, deer, game birds;
- size and specifications — clothing size, cover length, season, waterproofing;
- camouflage — Realtree, Mossy Oak, reed, winter white;
- brand and model, for example Hart or Remington;
- quantity, condition, budget, delivery city.
Example: “I need 10 duck decoys and a reed-pattern camouflage suit, size L, waterproof, new. For waterfowl hunting. Tuen Mun, courier delivery. Budget up to HK$750.”
