- Quantity in the set — for example, 4 heads.
- Condition — for devices only: new or used.
- Budget and city.
Example: “Looking for a new countertop water flosser, tank from 600 ml, several tips, for braces. Tauranga, courier delivery. Budget up to $110.”
What to know about flossers and brushes
For braces and implants a water flosser is usually recommended, and countertop models have a bigger tank and a stronger jet than portable ones. Portable ones are handy for travel, but you refill the water more often. Look at how many tips come in the box and whether you can buy more separately.
For electric toothbrushes, ask about the modes (daily clean, sensitive, gum massage), the run time per charge and whether there is a timer. Don't trust adverts alone: check the reviews for that exact model. If you have problems with your gums or teeth, see a dentist, who can tell you what suits you.
Original heads or compatible ones
Compatible heads are cheaper, but the bristles, firmness and fit can differ. Write what you need and ask the seller to state which version they offer. Don't skimp on the warranty for the device itself: ask how long it lasts and who provides it.
