Style first, everything else later
Briefs, thongs, Brazilian cut, boxer shorts, high-waisted knickers — these are different cuts and behave differently when worn. For daily comfort and under tight trousers, people usually take seamless styles or the Brazilian cut; for sport, seamless shorts; and under a skirt or a thin dress, thongs or briefs with smooth edges.
Special cases: period knickers with a built-in absorbent layer, postpartum ones with a high waist, and maternity knickers with a soft band under the belly. In these cases ask about absorbency, composition and care instructions, and consult a doctor if needed.
Material and hygiene
