Style: comfort depends on the cut
Underwear is worn every day, so a mistake in the cut is felt every morning. What suits you depends on your clothes, your activity and your habits.
- Boxers: longer, covering part of the thigh, comfortable under loose trousers and in the office;
- Boxer briefs: shorter, closer fitting, they hold their shape well under jeans and sportswear;
- Briefs: compact, for tight clothes; a good cut matters so that they do not dig in;
- Trunks and thongs: for specific needs, such as under thin clothing.
Fabric and quality
Cotton with elastane is the most common option: it breathes and stretches. Modal and bamboo are softer and more pleasant on the skin, and microfibre dries fast and suits sport. Seamless models do not chafe under tight clothes. Look at the waistband elastic: if it is stiff, the underwear will press, and if it is too soft, it will bunch.
For sport and hot, humid summers, breathable fabrics are better, and for winter in the north, denser ones will do. Seams should be flat and not press, and the label is best sewn in or printed so that it does not scratch the skin.

How to compare offers
Work out the price per pair, because packs with different numbers of pieces cannot be compared by the total. Check the fabric composition, not just the brand name. Ask about the size chart and the exchange terms: underwear is usually not returnable, so it is important to agree this before buying.
