Buy a motorcycle, scooter or quad bike: offers from sellers
What to choose: from an e-scooter to a quad bike
The bikes section has many kinds of vehicle: from a city electric scooter to a full-size quad bike. So first decide where and how you will ride.
For daily trips in the city a moped or scooter or an electric scooter is enough. If you want comfort on the highway, look at maxi scooters, and for classic riding and touring, motorcycles. For short distances there are electric kick scooters and hoverboards.
Off-road and seasonal vehicles
For forest tracks, fields and rough ground there are quad bikes and buggies. Karting suits those who want a track, not a road. Look for electric versions among electric motorcycles and electric quads.
What to put in your request
- type of vehicle — tourer, sport, cruiser, scooter, quad bike;
- engine size — for example 125, 250 or 600 cc; for electric, power and range;
- licence category — the one you hold, so you do not buy something you cannot ride;
- year and kilometres — or running hours;
- condition — new, repaired, for restoration;
- papers — whether there is registration and an invoice;
- riding gear — helmet, protection, top box, if needed;
- city and delivery;
- budget, if you want to state it.
What to look at when comparing
On a used motorcycle check the frame for bends and weld marks, whether the fork leaks, and the condition of the chain and sprockets, tyres and brake discs. A cold start tells you more about the engine than nice photos. On scooters pay attention to the variator and rollers.
Judge electric motorcycles and scooters by the battery: ask about the number of charge cycles, the real range and the battery warranty. On a quad bike or buggy the condition of the suspension and drive matters, as does the presence of a winch or guards.
Season and timing
Demand is highest just before the riding season, and in the off-season bikes are often sold cheaper. Ask how the bike was stored, for instance with the battery removed and on a stand during the monsoon.
Do not save on protection. A helmet (look for the ISI mark), a jacket with armour, gloves and boots are part of the budget, not an extra. You can write in the request that you need riding gear together with the bike, and sellers will include it in the offer.
Count the cost of ownership too: insurance, tyres, chain, lubricant, and for sports models expensive servicing. So write how you will ride: daily to work, at weekends in the countryside or on a track. That decides whether to take a new model with a warranty or a cheaper used one with a careful check. For electric vehicles ask for the charger in the kit and how long a charge really takes from an ordinary socket.
If you are buying for a child or teenager, find out the age and legal limits for such a vehicle and choose a model with limited power and full protection.
How BlaBlaPrice works
Instead of calling showrooms and private owners, you write one request: what you need, where, and your budget. Sellers reply in the chat with price, photos and terms, and the platform shows the best-value offer first. Seller reviews are visible next to each one. Contacts stay hidden until you choose. More about this on the “How it works” page. Look for other vehicles in the “Vehicles” section.
