How an Acura differs from an ordinary Honda
Acura is Honda's premium line, and in India many of these cars are imports from the USA or elsewhere abroad. So a part that looks the same can have a different version: other lamps, other side lights, a different trim level. Parts from a Honda breaker do not always fit an Acura, even when the models are related. That is why it is especially important here to know the exact model, generation and year.
Most people look for parts for the MDX, RDX, TSX and TLX. Each has its own body codes and different engines, for example the 3.7 V6 in the second-generation MDX.
What to put in your request
- Car model — with the generation, for example Acura MDX;
- Which part — be specific: front headlight, not just “lights”;
- Year and body code, for example 2008, YD2;
- Engine — size and type, for example 3.7 V6;
- Side — left or right, front or rear;
- Colour — for body parts, for example black pearl;
- Condition of the part — intact, no cracks, tested;
- VIN — 17 characters for an exact match;
- Delivery city and budget.
Example: “I need a right front headlight for an Acura MDX 2008 (YD2), 3.7 V6, intact housing with no cracks and a working control unit. VIN 2HNYD28408H123456. Courier delivery to Delhi, budget up to ₹25,000.”

On imported cars the trim levels within one year can be very different: there are versions with adaptive headlights, with a different audio system, with all-wheel drive. The VIN helps work out exactly which part you need. What to look at in the offers
Compare more than the price. Find out which car the part came from: the mileage and condition of the donor, if known. Ask for photos from several sides and the number on the part. Ask whether you can return it if it does not fit the mountings or the connector. And agree on packing in advance: headlights and glass should not be shipped carelessly.
