Game console and VR headset hire for a day, a weekend or longer
What do you need the console for
For a party with friends you need games for two to four players, so make sure there are enough controllers. For a children's birthday, family games on a Nintendo Switch work well, and racing simulators need a steering wheel and pedals. A VR headset for a party or an office event depends on free space: you need a few square metres without furniture.
So the first things to decide are the game and the number of people. They decide the model, the set and the length of the hire.
What to put in your request
- What to hire — PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, VR headset, steering wheel.
- Model or generation — PS5, Meta Quest 3.
- Set — number of controllers, whether you need a TV or monitor, a steering wheel, space for VR.
- Games — specific titles or a subscription; for example FIFA and Mortal Kombat.
- Purpose — a weekend at home, a birthday, an office party.
- Period — a weekend, a week or longer.
- Delivery and set-up — bring and connect it, or pick-up.
- Deposit — whether you will leave one or want none.
- City or area and budget per day.
Example request
“I need a PS5 with two controllers and a TV for my son's birthday (he turns 8), from 15 to 17 November. Games: FIFA and something for two kids. Hyderabad, Gachibowli, delivery and set-up needed, budget up to ₹1,500 per day.”
What to look at in the offers
Ask whether the games you need are on discs or in an account, and how to activate them. The owner may offer their own profile, and then you should discuss what must not be changed. Make sure the console is clean and updated, and the controllers are charged. For VR, ask whether the lenses and pads are disinfected between hires, and whether you need a powerful PC or the headset is standalone.
Compare prices for the weekend, not just per day: many owners give a discount on a longer hire. Also ask whether the return day is counted, and who is responsible for damage.
A common mistake is not checking that your TV has the right ports (HDMI) and supports the mode you need. Tell the owner about your equipment, and they will advise you.
How it works with BlaBlaPrice
