How to compare offers
Not every car workshop understands motorcycles. Ask whether the mechanic has experience with your type: sports bikes, cruisers and scooters differ. For a scooter the variator group matters, and for a sports bike the carburettor synchronisation or injector calibration.

Common mistakes
Most often people go out in the season on a bike that “seems to start”, without checking the brakes and chain. They save money on oil, although an engine with a wet clutch does not suit just any oil. They leave petrol in the tank for months without a fuel stabiliser. They put off changing tyres, even when the rubber already has cracks from age.
