Tours and excursions: ready options from travel agencies for your request
One request instead of several conversations with managers
When you pick a tour, you usually have to explain everything from scratch to each agency: dates, the group, the hotel you want. On BlaBlaPrice you write your request once, and agencies and excursion companies send their options in the chat. You can add one photo, for example of a hotel or a place you liked. The request is checked before it is shown, and you are told what is missing.
Each offer states what exactly the tour includes, the price or what it depends on, and the terms. Providers see where their offer ranks among the others and can improve their terms. The best-value offer is shown first, with reviews alongside. Only the agency you choose sees your phone number. More in how it works.
What affects the cost of a tour
- Dates: peak season, festivals and school holidays are usually dearer than the off season.
- The hotel: its star rating, its distance from the beach, whether breakfast or all meals are included.
- Flight or bus, transfer and insurance — they may already be in the price, or charged separately.
- The group: children have separate accommodation terms, and that changes the total.
- For excursions: group size, transport, entry tickets, a guide.
What to put in your request
- Destination — a country, a resort or a place to visit, for example Goa or Kerala.
- Dates — exact or approximate, for example 10–17 December.
- Length — the number of nights.
- Who is travelling — adults and children with their ages.
- Hotel — category, distance from the beach, special requirements.
- Meals — breakfast, half board, all inclusive.
- Type of tour — beach, coach, ski, sightseeing, trek.
- Departure — from which city.
- Budget, for example up to ₹1,20,000 for two.
Example: “A tour to Goa for two from Mumbai, 10–17 December, 7 nights. A 4-star hotel near the beach, all meals included. No children. Flight and transfer in the price. Budget up to ₹1,20,000 for two.”
How to compare tours fairly
First bring the offers to equal terms: the same dates, the same nights, the same type of meals, a flight with or without baggage. Tours with very similar prices can differ in hotels, or one of them may quote the price without insurance or transfer. Check whether there are extra payments at the destination: resort fees, excursions, hotel services.
Look at the airline and the departure time, especially if you are travelling with a child. Ask about the cancellation terms and the terms for changing dates: in an emergency that matters more than a difference of a few thousand rupees. For travel abroad, check the document requirements, and if you need a visa, visa assistance will help you see who handles it.
Common mistakes
Choosing a hotel only by its stars, without reviews. Not checking what is in the price and what is not. Paying for a tour without a contract. Booking too late in peak season and accepting whatever is left.
For children's holidays without parents, look at children's camps. Everything about travel is in the “Travel & immigration” section.
